Packaging tasks are some of my favourites around the holidays. There are so many neat gift boxes and bags, as well as festive decorations, school supplies and table scatter that the possibilities are endless!
Erasers are some of my favourite because there are always different packages of cute festive characters, they are the perfect size and basically require no prep – one package of erasers = one box.
Take a photo of the erasers that should go in each package, students match them to the visual and put them in the box when they’re finished.
It is easy to differentiate these task boxes. Up the ante by making the type or number of items put in each box different. For more visual learners, provide a picture of what goes in each box so that students can match. For the next level, write the requirements in the lid or bottom of each box so that students have to read what goes inside.
There are so many different things you can find to package – just wander the aisles at your local dollar store! Happy creating!
